Eagles Blog: The Final Chapter!

Last week, we cooked a vegetarian chili and a cherry pie for our lunch; we put sauce, peppers, onions, mushrooms and Quorn mince in to a pan. We boiled rice. The chili was good!

For the cherry pie we made our own pastry and put cherries in the pie before putting it in the oven. The pie was sweet and delicious! We had it with ice cream J

Last Tuesday, it was Sports Day! We did hurdles, running, obstacle course, hockey skills, javelin and beanbag in a bucket. We all tried really hard and had lots of fun. We don’t know which house has won the trophy yet……

In P.E last week, we practiced our curling and ten pin bowling while some of us were at the Art Center. We were rehearsing for our amazing performance ‘The Puzzling Journey‘ that we performed at Salisbury Playhouse on Friday evening. It was a little bit scary having lots of people watch us but we were AMAZING!!!

This week, we have finished all of our academic work including SEAL, Literacy and the library. We have been making posters of our Best Bits this year as a special art project 🙂 AND tomorrow, we are going to Amesbury Park for a picnic!

Next week, we are having a transition day, a party and the Leaver’s Assembly! Wahoo!

In September, we will be in different classes; six of us are moving on to the vocational center and the others will remain in Eagles with new friends. Our teacher Francesca is moving to a different school, so this is our last week with her.
