EH LGC Governor’s Blog, September 2018

Dear Parents,

The Local Governing Committee met for the first time this academic year on Tuesday 11th September.

We sadly said our goodbyes to Angela Ockendon who has resigned after serving as a community governor with commitment and passion for the last eight years.

We are happy to welcome David Bray onto the committee. David has a grandchild at the school and has a lifetime of experience in the building industry.

The committee reviewed Matt’s ambitious and thorough School Improvement Plan, which will be on the website soon, and discussed our Local Governing Committee structure and development.

We are very aware that we need to engage more with the parent community and will be working on this during the year.  We also need  to increase the number of parent and community governors, so watch this space!
